Justin Grimwood is a fifth generation Colorado farmer-rancher, growing up in the San Luis Valley on a large farm and ranch has given him a unique perspective of the abundant natural resources in southern Colorado. He has grown alfalfa, Moravian barley (for Coors Distilling), winter wheat, oats, potatoes, and grass hay for horses. Justin has ran cattle, sheep, and had over 100 head of Tibetan Bison, also known as Yaks.
Mr. Grimwood owns rental investment houses and has been the carpenter, plumber, and electrician in their restoration. Remodeling multiple houses has given Justin the ability to see their potential and what is necessary to update a home. Justin’s farming and ranching experience allows him the foresight to see what is required to make a farm and ranch profitable.
In 2008 Mr. Grimwood his wife Kara, and three children, decided to move out of the San Luis Valley seeking the warmth and recreational lifestyle that the Durango area has to offer. Justin is an avid skier and snowboarder. He loves the mountains and has crossed the Weminuche Wilderness several times both by horse back and foot. It is his desire to share his vast knowledge of southern Colorado with you in your endeavor to purchase, or sell. His goal is to be a source of knowledge you can count on.
